No one writes the same word absolutely identically everytime. When the same words or letters are identical it proves they may have been traced.
A typewritten document was alleged to have been drawn up in a certain year. Research proved tht no typewriter bore that kind of typeface till five years later.
Altered documents can be detected under ultraviolet light. Erasures, alterations, etc... flouresce differently.
